If you are not sure which Zain country a number belongs to, Kuwait is the line most often recharged from the US, so check there first.

Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Bahrain and Iraq sit apart from Zain's Sudan and South Sudan networks, so match the country to the right page.

very nice and smooth experience

very nice and smooth experience. First top to TIM Brasil didnt work because TIM is bad provider. The money stayed in between. So I asked DoctorSIM to change the top up to VIVO (another number of mine) and the money were delivered in 5 minutes to VIVO number, so I could use the data and so on. DoctorSIM works perfectly with top ups.

Most visits to this page are people in the US sending a Zain Kuwait recharge to a relative's line, but Zain also operates as six more separate carriers stretching from the Gulf into East Africa. Whichever of the seven the SIM belongs to, the balance updates within seconds and there is nothing to set up beforehand.

The Gulf carriers and the East African ones

Zain Kuwait carries by far the most traffic from the US, alongside four more Gulf networks: Zain Saudi Arabia, Zain Jordan, Zain Bahrain and Zain Iraq. South of the Gulf, Zain Sudan and Zain South Sudan run on completely separate infrastructure, even though the brand and the app look identical. Pick the page that matches where the number was issued, not where the SIM card happens to be right now.

If you are not sure which page to use

Ask the person whose line you are recharging which country issued the SIM, since a Kuwaiti number will not take a top-up meant for Sudan, and the payment page will not warn you either way. The phone does not need to be registered to you, and there is no account to create on your side or theirs. Once you have the right country page open, enter the number, choose how much to send, and pay by card, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay; the total shows before you confirm, with no hidden fees added afterward.

Frequently asked questions

Is a Zain Sudan recharge different from Zain Kuwait?

Yes. They run on separate networks under the same brand, so you need the Sudan page for a Sudanese number and the Kuwait page for a Kuwaiti one; using the wrong one will not deliver the balance.

Do I need the SIM to be registered in my name?

No. All you need is the phone number itself, whether it is your own Zain line or someone else's.

How long does the balance take to show up?

It normally lands within seconds of the payment going through, at any time of day, without a store visit on either side.

Can I pay from a US card or PayPal account?

Yes. Card, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay all work from the US, and you see the full cost before you confirm the payment.
