Two ways to pay the same doctorSIM order
x402 and MPP are machine payment rails (HTTP 402) for different buyers. Both create the same doctorSIM order: mobile top-up, travel eSIM, or gift card. Guest chat still uses the payment link on doctorsim.com. PRO accounts still use credits.
x402 — USDC and wallet
For agents and wallets that pay in USDC. The server quotes the order and answers 402 Payment Required. The buyer signs the transfer and retries. No browser and no Stripe token. Same catalog and same orders as the rest of doctorSIM.
Connect MCP at https://api.doctorsim.com/mcp. Pick a product from the sandbox catalog or the production catalog. POST /v2/x402/orders unpaid → 402. Pay the quoted USDC and retry with PAYMENT-SIGNATURE. Discovery: https://api.doctorsim.com/v2/x402/discovery.json.
MPP — Stripe Shared Payment Token
For agents that pay with a Stripe Shared Payment Token (spt_). The server answers 402 and asks for Authorization: Payment. A different buyer than x402; the same doctorSIM order.
Read https://api.doctorsim.com/openapi.json. POST /v2/mpp/orders without a credential → 402. Retry with Authorization: Payment and a valid spt_.
Stripe Link Agents docs (link.com/agents) are not available in every country. We do not promise that they work in your region.

- Guest: no account needed. The agent browses the catalog and can create a payment link on doctorsim.com, or pay with x402 or MPP if the client is a machine.
- PRO: create an account, request API access, and use credits or OAuth. The panel is in My Account → API.
- ChatGPT and Claude plugins are approved. Grok connects with the MCP URL or the Grok Bot plugin; the xAI catalog submission is filed, not approved. We do not invent marketplace URLs.
